SAFETY TRAINING
Lion's Gate is a registered training center for the National Safety Council and an approved training center for the American Safety & Health Institute. We offer basic CPR classes, as well as First Aid and AED training. We also offer advanced certifications in several areas, including overdose response and and Advanced BLS.
CPR + FIRST AID + AED
Lion's Gate is a registered training center for National Safety Council and the American Safety and Health Institute. We offer affordable CPR training options for individuals and businesses, including basic First Aid, CPR and AED, as well as advanced courses for health care professionals and first responders. Communicable Disease training is available as well.
CONCEALED CARRY
Our Concealed Carry courses are designed to satisfy the requirements to obtain a concealed carry permit in Nebraska or Ohio. The training includes a classroom segment with a written exam and qualification at a firearms range. Students must read, write and understand English and be able to follow all of the directions given by the training staff.
OVERDOSE RESPONDER TRAINING
Learn about the scope of the opioid epidemic, how to identify and respond to an overdose, as well as the legal obligations of citizens when an overdose occurs. This course includes a simulation activity for administering Naloxone and the associated first aid activities needed when an overdose occurs.
SELF-DEFENSE
Lion's Gate offers self-defense classes that provide not only physical training but also psychological and verbal skills training to prevent or defend against a potential attacker.
