EMERGENCY ACTION PLANS

An Emergency Action Plan (EAP) is a written document required by OSHA standards [29 CFR 1910.38(a)] to facilitate and organize employer and employee actions during workplace emergencies. Well-developed Emergency Action Plans and proper employee training result in fewer and less severe employee injuries and less damage to the facility during emergencies.

A well prepared Emergency Action Plan likely will lead to an organized evacuation or emergency response, reducing the likelihood for confusion, injury, and property damage. Lion's Gate Security Solutions develops comprehensive Emergency Action Plans that are specific to your worksite and industry, involving management and employees in the emergency planning process. The commitment and support of senior management to all employees is critical to the Emergency Action Plan's success in the event of an emergency.

Lion's Gate Security Solutions Inc. evaluates your current Emergency Action Plan to ensure that it meets OSHA standards and develops your customized Emergency Action Plan.

  • Lion's Gate provides a security inspection of your facility or facilities, as well as a courtesy fire inspection, and gives you a report of findings.

  • After review of our inspection results, Lion's Gate provides training to all your employees. Training will include classroom discussion as well as a practical, hands-on scenario that tests your employees' knowledge of their assignments during an actual emergency. Our Emergency Action Plan training covers fire evacuations, emergency evacuations, active shooter procedures, domestic violence training, armed intruder response and bullying/cyberbullying training.

  • All training entails a classroom portion, with goals and learning objectives, along with a customized scenario that is tailored to your facility, environment and field of expertise.

Our trainers are certified Law Enforcement and Fire Protection and Department of Defense professionals.
